Two brightly coloured villas with beautiful and unusual interiors, set close to our Crèche & Children's Club at Mousses.
Stepping into either villa from the lush and welcoming grounds, the rooms are no less appealing, with quirky objets d'art and immaculate attention to detail ensuring there is much to discover. Dark beamed ceilings echo the colour of furniture which seems to have been built to last the ages, while bright walls and unusual light fittings ensure the mood is anything but sombre. Three bedrooms sleep up to six people, while a double and a single sofa bed are suitable for up to three further guests. One twin bedroom with en suite shower room has a separate entrance to the side of the villa, with no access to the rest of the building, so members of the group looking for extra privacy and independence are catered for.

Each villa enjoys the luxury of its own private pool in the gardens, with sunloungers and seating arranged around the paved pool terrace and presenting tempting sunbathing opportunities. A little extra effort yields the wonderful beach at Agios Ioannis, though if the very thought of sitting still on a beach makes some holidaymakers restless, windsurfing and kite surfing are popular here. A little further up the beach the cool, clear waters are quieter and ideal for swimming.

Like their mythological namesakes, these two villas, Castor and Pollox, are identical and stand side by side. They share their grounds with Mousses Apartments, but are screened from the main complex and have a separate entrance for greater privacy. They are surrounded by beautifully-tended gardens and an enviable green lawn, while the olive grove beyond the villa gardens maintains peace and tranquillity, with wild herbs growing nearby and scenting the air. A host of good tavernas are within easy reach by car at Lefkas Town, and there are three on the beach in high season. Both villas are in a peaceful location and Villa Castor has the advantage of being nearer the Mousses pool bar so tempting snacks and cool drinks are just a few steps away at the bottom of the garden.
